A laser is flashed on the skin. The light scatters and is of such a specific wavelength that it converts to heat energy in the area of the red pigmentation, thus successfully eliminating around 80% of the veins over 2-3 treatments. There is a mild discomfort during the procedure and there will be redness for a couple of days after the treatment.
